I went into this with high expectations, having 'met' most of the main cast through the author's Twitter account, and I was not disappointed. The romantic tension sizzles off the page and goes perfectly with the fast-paced action and creeping intrigue.
The book lives up to the Resident Evil hype without the need for excessive gore on page making it more action-thriller or horromancy than outright horror. The classics of zombies and vampires are given a fresh twist.
Come for the zombie-slaying action. Stay for the unforgettable characters.
